Umigarasu is made by fermenting barley from the Iki region with rice koji and distilling it. The process includes adding natural groundwater to the undiluted Iki shochu and maturing it for a long time in an oak cask from North America. Iki shochu Umigarasu is a stylish and alluring shochu which wraps the fragrance of barley around the sweetness of rice koji, and is completed by a classy wooden cask. We recommend you drink it on the rocks, or with sparkling water.
