Kumanosuigun is a honkaku (authentic) kome (rice) shochu made by the only local sake maker in the Kumano region which is registered as a World Heritage site. Along with the groundwater of the Kumano River (part of a World Heritage site), using carefully selected rice, rice koji, and homemade ginjo sake lees, Kumanosuigun is a honkaku kome shochu with a fragrant ginjo aroma, and a round rich flavor.
