This shochu uses the sweet potato “Nourin-nigo” which was mainly cultivated in the early Showa era, and is hardly seen now. We grow this Nourin-nigo at the “Shochugura Farm”, Yamamoto Shuzo’s agricultural corporation and use it as a raw ingredient. We also use the underground water of "Kanmuridake” mountain, and carefully prepare black koji mold in an earthenware jar, and finish it by a method of filtration called “Yamaage Nunokoshi”. After all of these processes, this excellent shochu is finally completed. Please enjoy the taste and aroma of the good old sweet potato by mixing it with hot or cold water.
