Kannoko is matured barley shochu with amber color, stored and aged for more than three years. “Rich aroma and mellow flavor” is its feature. Satsuma Shuzo has a “barrel warehouse” and a “barrel studio” at its Hinokami Distillery, and it is the only shochu distillery in Japan where dedicated “barrel craftsmen” work. The shochu was made and developed with uncompromised shochu-making and, at the same time, with a strong passion for barrels. Having a smoky flavor and a sweet scent like vanilla, Kannoko is perfect for highball (shochu mixed with soda)
