Saruko is a masterpiece unique to atmospherically-distilled shochu, having a faint “scorched scent of barley” in addition to a sweet and soft yet light mouthfeel. In order to pursue the original flavor and taste of shochu, undiluted shochu that has gone through enough maturing period is further blended in. With this process, it becomes authentic shochu in which deep taste can be enjoyed.
