The Iki Islands (Nagasaki Prefecture) are the birthplace of barley shochu. Using selected barley and rice koji in the proportion of two to one, it is made through traditional vacuum distillation. When opened, the umami and sweetness of rice and the rich flavor and aroma of barley can be enjoyed. It is recommended for those who like shochu as well as shochu connoisseurs.
