Our barley shochu - Tsunezo Breeze 40°- is created using 100% Toyonohoshi; it is a new barley cultivar cultivated here in Oita Prefecture, which is great for producing fantastic shochu. Adopting a ginjo-zukuri style (a strict method used to create high-quality shochu), we ferment the shochu at a low temperature along with other ingredients, including special koji and yeast. This gives the shochu a gorgeous aroma and a juicy taste. Enjoy its rich flavor on the rocks or in a citrus cocktail that goes well with our shochu.
